    The contract is created from the assignment.

    Framework contract, staffing contract and assignment specification are created from the assignment record. When it is signed, the assignment notice required by German law (§ 11 AÜG) goes to the employee.

    The contract is created in Word. Hopefully without legal errors.

    The assignment is promised, the contract not yet written. Someone looks for the current template, copies master data together from three programs and checks pay agreement and surcharges in their head, on the phone at the same time.

    The consequenceUnder German temporary-agency law, a contract that does not designate the work as temporary agency work or does not name the employee is void, and the employee is deemed to be employed by the client.1

    Maximum assignment duration and equal pay travel with the assignment in alluvo, even when it is extended. alluvo tells you before a deadline runs out.

    Maximum assignment duration and equal pay run separately for every assignment. In the calendar there is at most a reminder, and someone set it by hand.

    The consequenceIf the maximum assignment duration is exceeded under German law, your employee becomes an employee of your client. A fine can come on top.2

    The client books themselves.

    In the client portal your client sees who is free, with qualification and the hourly rate from your framework contract. They book themselves and approve the hours later in the same place.

    Free hours sell badly over the phone. The client asks, you search, you call back, and by then the shift is filled elsewhere.

What does scheduling software for staffing do?

It records who works where and when, and manages the contracts for it. In alluvo the shift plan, framework contract, staffing contract and client portal belong to one module and share their data with people, time and invoicing.

Does alluvo create the temporary staffing contract?

Yes. Framework contracts, staffing contracts and assignment specifications are created from the assignment data, from templates you maintain yourself. When it is signed, the assignment notice required by German law (§ 11 AÜG) goes to the employee. The templates follow German law today; templates for other countries are planned.
