Workflow automation for everything that repeats.
Some processes need no judgement, but reliability: something happens, and the same thing always follows. For these cases there is workflow automation in alluvo, with triggers, conditions and steps you put together yourself. It runs without AI agents, and where a judgement is needed after all, it calls one as a step.

At a glance

The process is in the system.
Triggers, conditions and steps sit in alluvo as a workflow. It runs when the event occurs, regardless of who is in the office.
A thing of the past
Only Ms Aydin knows the process. And she is on holiday.
What to do after a certain event, whom to inform, what to create, when to follow up, is in her head. Nobody ever wrote it down because it always worked.
The consequenceFor two weeks it does not happen, and it is only noticed when a client complains.

Waiting is part of the process.
A workflow can wait and then carry on, also on a schedule. The next step can be an agent that creates the task on the right record.
A thing of the past
Follow-up in three days. If someone remembers.
For the follow-up there is a reminder in the calendar, set by hand. If something comes up, it gets clicked away and not set again.
The consequenceThe follow-up does not happen, and the candidate or client decides without you.

Fixed rules run fixed.
A workflow is mechanics without a mind of its own: same trigger, same steps. You only use an AI agent as a step where a real decision is needed.
A thing of the past
For every "if A, then B" you ask the AI. And get something different each time.
A fixed rule runs through a language model because no other tool is at hand. Mostly the right thing comes out.
The consequenceThe same input produces different results, and credits are spent on work that needs no judgement at all.

-
Studio
The workbench for your agents.
- Build agents, give them instructions and roll them out, all in one place.
- The instruction is not a text field: about twenty blocks with different owners, and each one shows who it belongs to.
- Every run can be read back: what the agent did, what it relied on, what it left alone.
-
AI
The AI follows up. You tell it how far.
- Calls, notes and appointments are followed up automatically.
- Which employee documents the assistant may send is set in a list.
- What it saved in time and cost, it calculates with your cost model.

Questions about workflow automation.
What is the difference between a workflow and an AI agent?
The workflow knows when something happens: triggers, conditions, steps. The agent decides what to do, based on instructions and skills. The two work together, as a workflow can call an agent as a step.
Do I need AI for a workflow?
No. Workflows run without AI agents, for everything that always goes the same way. You only add an agent when a step needs judgement.
What does a workflow cost?
Nothing. Workflows are free. Credits only apply when an agent takes over work as a step.
Can a workflow run on a schedule or wait?
Yes. The schedule lives in the workflow, and a workflow can insert a waiting time before it runs the next step.
Can I also build workflows in conversation with the alluvo operator?
Yes. The operator sets up automations on request, including a workflow with waiting time, and shows you before every write what it would create.
