Fleet management that remembers the driving licence.
Whoever drives a vehicle at your company is an employee with a personnel file, assignments and hours. Fleet management in alluvo hangs on exactly that record: the licence check comes back on its own, odometer readings are requested, and the usage notes are where the driver sees their vehicle.

At a glance
The licence check that comes back on its own.
- Recurring driving licence check with a pool of internal checkers.
- Odometer readings are requested, not chased.
- Usage notes are where the driver sees their vehicle.
From everyday work
Three scenes around the company car. The key handover was still the easy part.

The check comes back on its own.
The driving licence check repeats itself in alluvo and lands with a pool of internal checkers. It hangs neither on a single colleague nor on their calendar.
A thing of the past
The licence was copied at handover. That was two years ago.
At vehicle handover someone copied the driving licence and filed it. Nobody has looked since, and you only hear of a driving ban if the driver mentions it.
The consequenceIf someone drives without the required licence, you are liable as keeper if you ordered or allowed the drive, even through negligence.1

The odometer reading is requested.
alluvo requests the odometer readings from the drivers instead of the office phoning around. The number lands on the vehicle it belongs to.
A thing of the past
The odometer is requested by group email. Half reply.
At month end an email goes to all drivers. A few send a photo of the dashboard, the rest after the third reminder, and someone types the numbers in.
The consequenceExcess mileage on a lease only shows at return. Then the extra payment is due and can no longer be steered.

The notes are with the vehicle.
You maintain the usage notes for employees in alluvo. The driver finds them where they see their vehicle.
A thing of the past
The rules for the car hang on the notice board. In the office.
Refuelling, private trips, what to do in a breakdown: it is on a sheet handed out with the key. On assignment, the driver never sees it again.
The consequenceEvery open question becomes a call to scheduling, and what is not asked, everyone does as they see fit.

Questions about fleet management.
What is part of fleet management in alluvo?
Vehicles with usage notes for employees, odometer requests and the recurring driving licence check. Extended fleet reports come on top.
How does the driving licence check work?
It repeats on its own, and a pool of internal checkers does the checking. The employee does their part in the employee app instead of at reception.
Why is the fleet in the HR system?
Because the driver is an employee. Vehicle, driving licence and odometer hang on the same person as personnel file, assignments and hours, and you do not maintain them in a second list.
Can I also manage keys and devices?
Yes, in the equipment feature of the same module. Devices, hardware, tools and keys follow the same mechanics there as the vehicles.
